Nurturing the Music Within

Composing music has always been a way for me to restore balance. Over the years, my musical life has spanned from performing professionally to quiet inward reflection—a way to process the world around me.

It is astonishing to witness the long afterlife of music I have created. Years on, royalties still arrive, carried by listeners I may never meet—most notably in Belgium and Germany. Although I have not performed publicly for some time, the creative process itself has never ceased.

Especially in these fog-laden depths of winter, I am drawn back to the music of my ancestors. I took up the Celtic harp a few years ago, captivated by the sounds of the world’s more ancient hours. I especially enjoy playing stringed instruments; their resonances offer a deep, restorative calm to the nervous system.

I look forward to sharing more on this journey of music and healing in the months ahead.
